Today's The Day!
Today is your first weigh in!
Don't forget to get your starting weight today and record it on your
spreadsheet. Be consistent with what you wear and the time of day you
weigh. Watch for an email next Monday, June 24th with information on
reporting scores to me.

About the Contest....
Hello Summer!
Here’s to us for making a change to better ourselves for 2013!

Welcome to the 2013 BIGGEST LOSER COMPETITION!
From now on to be called a “Loser” will be a really good thing! First of all this is my first time heading a competition this big, so please be patient with me, I will try my best. This is how it works:
- This contest is derived off of weight loss percentage only. I do not need to know your weight ever, just pounds lost and percentage lost.
- I will be emailing you every week to show the highest pounds lost and highest percentage lost. When it comes down to the winner of the money pot, it will go off of highest percentage loss only! Although, pounds lost equals percentage loss!
- I will be sending you a spreadsheet that automatically calculates your weight loss percentage and all you have to do is enter your weight each week into the data to get your percentage. There will also be a 2nd and 3rd place winner as long as everybody that has signed up so far stays committed. The competition starts June 17th and ends September 17th.
Rules
- To enter the contest you must pay $25 and this is non-refundable. Please get this to me by Monday, June 23rd. This ensures your spot in the contest. After you have paid and if for some reason you want to forfeit your entry, you must find a replacement contestant and I must have their $25 before the end of June. After Jun3. you're stuck and in it to win it and the money is in the pot for good.
- First and foremost you are responsible to keep track of your numbers lost or gained! I will not be responsible for your numbers. This is very important! Also you need to get a scale that shows pounds as well as ounces because this counts immensely in the end. DO NOT EVER GUESS YOUR WEIGHT! This isn’t fair to the rest. Be honest! This whole competition is on your honor, nobody will be checking your weight at any time, so please, please, please be honest. There is a lot of money on the line. We are all in it for the same reason, but we are all obviously competitive people. Have integrity, and also have faith that the other contestants are being honest with their numbers as well. I will never question you.
- Weigh in is every Monday. You can weigh when ever you want, but always weigh at the same time and wearing the same thing. I always weigh first thing in the morning since you weigh the least after just waking up. Email me your numbers by Monday night. I will send out emails to post the top weight loss every Tues. night. If I don’t have your numbers sent to me by Tues. at 5pm I will count it as 0 weight loss. This doesn’t mean that you won’t get to count your weight loss, but it won’t be posted, and in my records I will have a 0. My records need to match your records so this is really important. I don’t have time to track you down to get your numbers so please get them to me ASAP and preferably by Monday evening.
- In my opinion healthy weight loss comes with good old fashion exercise and healthy eating, but it is up to you how you want to lose the weight, with the exception of doing the HCG diet, this is not allowed in this competition.
It’s on! Let’s keep each other motivated as we are all striving for the same results! Good luck! First weigh in is Monday, June 17th , then weigh again each following Monday and email me your numbers. My first report will be on the 24th so look for my emails and feel free to check the blog anytime.
